R&G Consultants is a professional Quantity Surveying Practice, whose operations are guided by the rules and guidelines of the South African Council for Quantity Surveyors, which body operates under the Quantity Surveyors Act of 1970

Among other requirements, the Act stipulates that no practice should be established and run by a non-registered Quantity Surveyor.

As a company, we are committed to professionalism by providing accurate, timeous service to our clients. As a service provider, we have documentation to deal with technical administration and human factors, which can affect quality of our service. These documents are internally and externally designed.

The in-house standard documents are unique to each practice. At R&G Consultants we use our own designed documents to complement the above. Some of such documents are:

  • Query list
  • Site Hand Over checklist
  • Measuring list
  • Bill Check

It is compulsory in our practice that all documents handed over to clients and other consultants are accompanied by letters to ensure trace of all communication.

R&G Consultants the business

This Practice was established in South Africa in 2003 as Ilangalethu Consult cc trading as R&G Consultants. The Directors are Dumi Gqwaru and Pat Rwexu. Our company is well equipped to successfully deal with South African Property and Social related problems including providing solutions to the same.

Currently, our offices are in Umtata, Pietermaritzburg, Durban and Pretoria. In addition, we also have a country-wide network through our Associate offices which gives us the edge to serve our clients irrespective of their geographical location.

We have a Professional Indemnity Cover from Glenrand MIB Professional Services of R 2 000 000.00.

The firm is registered with the Association of the South African Quantity Surveyors.
